Fees

We will discuss fees with you, and how these are calculated, at the beginning of the work you want us to do. So far as possible an estimate of the likely fees involved will be given and confirmed in writing.

The benefit to you of the legal work carried out by us as against the ongoing cost will also be regularly reviewed with you.

In property conveyancing work we can provide a fixed fee for you straightaway. We can prepare a Home Information Pack (HIP) for you as well if you are selling.

In some areas of work it is possible for you to set a limit on the amount of work carried out so that you can make sure you do not incur more than an agreed amount before giving instructions for us to carry on.

Arrangements can be made in appropriate cases to pay fees on an interim basis, by instalments, and by standing order.

In some cases we are able to work under a Conditional Fee Agreement - a 'no win no fee' agreement.

You should check whether you have 'Legal Expenses' insurance cover as this may be a source of funding of your legal costs.

There are some areas of work where we are able to offer a standard fixed fee straightaway; these include the following:-

• Uncontested Divorce or Judicial Separation
